Brittney

Brittney brings years of experience, a rock-solid work ethic, and a true passion for helping others to our team. With a strong background in medical billing, she’s built her career on accuracy, organization, and going the extra mile — and she brings that same energy into everything she does here.

Since joining the team, she’s fully immersed herself in mastering the world of QuickBooks and has quickly become our go-to expert for 1099 tracking and filing. Her ability to pick up new skills quickly, combined with her attention to detail and commitment to doing things right, makes her an invaluable resource for both our team and our clients.

What clients appreciate most about her is how dedicated she is to making their lives easier. Whether she’s managing tax documents or learning new tools behind the scenes, she’s all in — making sure every task is handled with care, precision, and a personal touch.

When she isn't working hard to keep things moving she loves spending quality time with her family, gardening, hiking, and hunting alongside her husband. She finds peace in life’s simple moments, often beginning her mornings outdoors with a cup of hot tea as she watches her chickens and ducks roam the yard.

Our Team

Ashley is a powerhouse of heart and support for both our clients and our team. With a natural attention to detail and a love for getting things just right, she brings a thoughtful, organized approach to every aspect of business management — not just the numbers.

She kicked off her career as an independent contractor at just 22 and launched her own business by 25, so she knows firsthand what it takes to run a business from the ground up. That experience, paired with certifications such as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and Gusto People Advisor, gives her the tools to support clients in everything from financial clarity to smooth day-to-day operations.

Ashley thrives when she’s helping growing businesses stay on track — whether that’s keeping systems streamlined, clients supported, or the backend running like a well-oiled machine. Her dedicated, caring approach means clients get personalized attention, genuine care, and a trusted partner who’s just as invested in their success as they are.

When she's not working hard for our valued clients she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog. She loves to be outside when the weather is nice but also likes to relax with a good book or puzzle in her downtime.

Hi! Welcome to Thomas & Co.

If you’ve landed here, chances are you’re looking for support, strategy, and maybe even a little peace of mind when it comes to running your business. You’re in the right place—and I’d love to tell you a little about how this all started.

Now, I could take you all the way back to a hospital in Van Nuys, CA in the summer of ’85… but I’ll spare you the full origin story and fast forward to the good stuff: how I found my way into the business of helping businesses.

I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years—from pushing grocery carts at 15 to brewing lattes, managing dental offices, navigating church and school finances, and even running a construction business. Somewhere along the way, I realized that the common thread in all of it was this: I loved helping people get organized, gain clarity in their finances, and reshape their business focus to give them more time to do what they love.

After the early birth of my second child—a 27-week (1.7lb) preemie who spent 3 months in the NICU—I knew I needed a new path that

would allow me to fully show up for my family and still make an impact with my skills.

So, I took a leap and started April Thomas, LLC—and I haven’t looked back since.

What started as a solo venture has now grown into Thomas and Company—a powerhouse team of talented, brilliant, and

compassionate women who share the same mission: to help businesses thrive through strategy, structure, and a whole lot of heart.

We believe in real connection, doing excellent work, and building systems that actually make life easier.

Sure, we love our tools and tech—but we also know that nothing beats a warm-blooded human being

who truly understands your vision and genuinely cares about your success in your corner.
